BusyLazyMum’s Top Summer Tunes

BusyLazyMum’s Top Summer TunesWho doesn’t love a feel good summer tune??

My top ten feel good summer tunes this year are:

George Ezra – Shotgun

Everywhere I go I hear this song. I hear it at the gym, blasting from cars driving past, my kids love it and it was performed in their school’s summer show. Everyone is going mad for it and rightly so. It’s a great catchy song. Usually I favour dance or club music for great summer hit, this one obviously isn’t either but it’s great and I love it. It’s no surprise that it spent 15 weeks at No. 1 before being knocked from the top spot by 3 Lions for the world cup on the 6th July. After 19 weeks in the charts currently resides at No.2 in the Official UK Top 40 Singles charts. You can watch the video here.

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa – One Kiss

This song is more like the typical summer tunes that I just love. This song is catchy and again I hear it everywhere. One Kiss spent 8 weeks at No.1 and after 17 weeks is currently still in the charts at No. 20. You can watch the video here.

Clean Bandit featuring Demi Lovato – Solo

I absolutely love this song. My husband introduced me to this song after hearing it on the radio at work, I must admit it I didn’t like it at first but after a while it grew on me. Solo has spent 1 week at No. 1 and after 11 weeks in the charts currently resides at No.18. You can watch the video here.

M-22 featuring Medina – First Time.

I was shocked to find out during my research for this post that First Time was actually released back in March 2018? I hadn’t heard it until July but I would say its more of a summer tune and I think it would have done a lot better if it had been released in the summer months. First Time peaked in the charts at No. 20 and currently resides at No. 24 in charts after 21 weeks. You can watch the video here.

Jonas Blue featuring Jack & Jack – Rise.

Another song that took its time to grow on. Rise is a catchy feel good summer song and it’s no surprise that after 10 weeks in the charts it is a non-mover at No.3. You can watch the video here.

All these songs are great summer tunes, great to blare out of your speakers at home or in the car, but also great to listen to on modern high-tech wireless headphones. You can find some great deals on Wireless Headphones here.
